Nominate a DAWN Champion: The 2025 DAWN Awards

As part of our October 19th fundraiser, we’ll be honoring five incredible individuals who embody the values and mission of DAWN. These awards recognize the tireless fighters, behind-the-scenes champions, and everyday heroes who are helping move us closer to equity, justice, and true feminist leadership.

We’re inviting YOU—our members—to nominate someone who deserves the spotlight.

Here are the 2025 DAWN Award categories:

• The Reproductive Justice Warrior Award
  For a fierce advocate who has fought to protect abortion access and reproductive freedom, whether through legislation, activism, or organizing.

• The DAWN Legacy Volunteer Award
  Honoring a longtime volunteer who has shown unwavering dedication to the Democratic Party and to electing pro-choice women—someone who always shows up, supports, and serves.

•  The GEM Award – Greatly Enlightened Male
  Celebrating a male ally who actively supports feminist values, uplifts women leaders, and walks the talk of gender equity.

• The Policy Powerhouse Award
  For a feminist who has championed impactful legislation that protects or advances the rights of women and marginalized communities.

•  The Rising Organizer Award
  Highlighting a new or emerging feminist who has stepped up, inspired others, and made a bold impact in a short time.

Each honoree will be recognized at the fundraiser during our 2025 DAWN Awards Ceremony.
